ECHA's call for evidence to support the preparation of a proposal to restrict chemicals in single-use nappies for infants and children

- 20/01/2020

The French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety (ANSES) announced its intention to propose a restriction of PAHs, furans, dioxins, PCBs and formaldehyde in single-use nappies for infants and children.

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) will host a call for evidence to support the preparation of the proposal. The call for evidence starts in January 2020 and closes on 31 March 2020, and you can contribute by completing the hyperlinked form. In order to clarify the scope of ANSES’s investigation and answer questions related to the call for evidence, ECHA is organizing an information session, open for all, and most useful for those planning to provide information for the preparation of the restriction proposal.
