Campaign on the protection of the pregnant woman, the fetus and the child from toxic factors
The Campaign includes the distribution of packages with material from the Cyprus National Committee on Environment and Children’s Health to new parents, throughout non-occupied Cyprus, thanks to the support of the Center of Preventive Pediatrics “Americos Argyriou” and hospitals. The material covers toxic factors e.g. chemicals and radiation. Each package also contains a small eco-friendly gift.
The aim of this action is to protect children by providing science-based information and by raising awareness about toxic agents, while empowering parents with practical information that will help them protect their children.
The implementation of the campaign is possible thanks to the cooperation of the Center of Preventive Pediatrics “Americos Argyriou” and Makarios III Hospital, to which we are deeply grateful.

Dear parents,
The Cyprus National Committee on Environment and Children’s Health (CNCECH) with this package and a small, ecologically made gift, wishes for your child to be
“Healthy and Happy”!
Along with your love you can give to your beloved child the best gift, protecting them from various toxic agents that can affect their health, such as chemicals and exposure to second-hand smoke and/or the radiation of wireless technology (EMF/RF). At the same time, you can empower them, so that as they grow up they learn to avoid unnecessary exposure to these factors on their own, and to claim their right to health.
We shouldn’t feel guilty if we have unintentionally exposed them to some risks because we weren’t aware of them and of the way to protect them. It’s never too late! Now we can protect them by learning how.
